It's been weeks since I posted. First I caught a cold my husband brought home from work, then that became bronchitis and frankly I don't feel like doing anything while I'm coughing up my lungs. We've also been re-tiling our kitchen walls. Hopefully the final part - grouting - will be done today. Then I have to put my kitchen back together. I'll post some before and after pictures when we finish. Then, on Friday the 13th I came home from work to find my laptop had gone belly up. After looking at it my DH decided it would be best to go get a new one. It was about four years old so I was due a new one. So I went to Best Buy after doing research on what I wanted and the best price to get it for and now I am the proud owner of a new HP DV6. It's got great battery life. Now, before I got sick I was doing some stitching. I have a picture of "Thirteen Colonies". I only work on this piece away from the house, at Stitch Night and Stitch n Bitch.
Next is the Astronomer. I lack about fifty stitches and then page 7 and the first row will be done.
I really need to get myself back into my stitching. Maybe I can put a few stitches in this tonight.
Thanks for visiting!

Glad your feeling better and can't wait to see the finished kitchen pictures.
Love the sampler.
See you when I get back.
Sorry to hear you were sick - glad you are feeling better now. Looking forward to seeing photos of your kitchen - I want to tile ours and am always looking for ideas. Love the sampler.
Oooh, I absolutely love the Astronomer, and you're so close to a row finish
You've had enough fun on the tile saw,now get back to stitching. Bring the Astronomer with you next time would love to see it in person.
Oooo--show us the kitchen, Ms. Tile Saw! And bring to Astronomer to the next stitch night--it's gorgeous!
Blah, sorry you were sick! When I'm sick, I can only lie around feeling very sorry for myself and getting angry because no one will feel sorry for me. So I never get any stitching done!
Glad you are back to blogging!
I hope you're feeling better! Your stitching is looking beautiful. The Astronomer, in particular, is quite impressive.
glad you are on the mend now - being sick sucks. Great wips!
