Phryne

I have finished At the Met by Mirabilia. She is stitched on 32 ct. PTP Storm. My DH looked at her and announced that she looks just like Phyrne Fisher from the Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries so I am going to call her Phryne.

Her whole sash is edged with beads

The edge of the dress is all beaded

So remember I said in my last post there is a crap load of beads? Just check out the pictures. They do not even show all the beads. So glad to be done with her.

I was going to start Raven Queen but I think I need a break from the big stuff and need to do a little piece instead.

Thanks for stopping by.

I enlarged the photos and made sure to look at all the beading. It's exquisite. What a wonderful finish. I'm sure a couple of smalls will put you in the mood for Raven Queen!

She is fantastic! And she does kind of remind me of the murder mystery detective. You really need perseverance to stitch those pieces and I congratulate you on having a boatload of it!
