Sorry
Sorry I haven't updated lately, but my needle has been flying. I have to restart CtS. I had emailed Michelle at HAED about there being so much black. She agreed it was too dark and reworked the pattern and sent me a new one (now that's customer service). However, since I was already on page 2, I can't just frog it, so I'll need to get a new piece of fabric. Already checked the stash and I don't have anything large enough. So until then, and because I needed some HAED to work on for the SAL, I pulled out FoS. Here is where I started.
And here is where I am tonight.
I'm almost done with page 10. I've done almost a whole page in a week. Boy howdy, if I could keep that up all the time I would have this done in less than a year, but there are too many other things to stitch on to dedicate myself to this alone. I'll keep going on it for now though. Maybe I can get most of page 11 done before the 1st of May next week. That's when I'll take up AW again. Now, I must get back to stitching. See ya.

Thursday SAL
Tomorrow is Stitch and Bitch with March. She invited a couple of people from her office. I hope they come. The more the merrier!
Happy Easter everyone!

CtS HD
And now, AW part 4. FREAKING BEADS! There are, if I counted right, 160 beads in this one section. I have to do that three more times. It took me hours to do. It's beautiful, but, yowzer!

HAED
I joined the Our Friends' HAED SAL group. We stitch on Thursdays. I actually got some stitching on CtS done. About 400 more stitches and page one will be done. I am stitching 1x1 full cross stitch on 28 ct jobelan. I like the smaller count.
Have a good weekend.

RTFM Baby!
This is mainly an IT saying. For those of you who don't know, it means Read The F****** Manual. This holds true for cross stitch instructions also. I'm blissfully stitching on Peppermint Twist, finished the first section and I went to do the backstitching and I read this "entire sampler is stitched in cross stitch using one strand of floss over two". Well heck. I did two strands of floss over two. I am not taking it out! I am not starting over! I like the way it looks. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
