Beatrix! I just put the last few beads in. She is so cute! Now I'm free and clear to stitch on FoS. The SAL is this weekend for HAED, so I think I'll go ahead and start stitching now. I really want to get farther along on it.
On the family front, my brother, his wife, and youngest daughter are in from California. They are staying at my sister's house (she has the extra room). So we all went out to dinner in Old Town Alexandria tonight. We went to the Hard Times Cafe. It is renowned in the metro area for their chili, wings, and ribs. We ate ourselves silly! It was great. Family and food. Nothing like it.

Congratulations! She's very cute.
What a lovely project! And thanks for the recipe--yum. I'm definitely going back there, now that I've scoped them out.
We have a Hard Times out here (Fredericksburg) too. I love it, but BF does not, for some reason, so it's hard to talk him into going. Bummer. I like the Cincinnatti chili on spaghetti.
Great Jan, you did a wonderful job and she is a winner. Can't wait to see it framed.:-)
Hi Jan,
I found your blog by accident and I must tell you I love everything I've seen so far. Your stitching is exquisite.
Congratulations on a stunning finish. I love Nora's alphabet. Too bad I don't have a friend whose name starts with B to stitch this one for.
I've added you to my Google Reader. Rest assured I'll be back to visit again :)
