Sorry

Sorry I haven't updated lately, but my needle has been flying. I have to restart CtS. I had emailed Michelle at HAED about there being so much black. She agreed it was too dark and reworked the pattern and sent me a new one (now that's customer service). However, since I was already on page 2, I can't just frog it, so I'll need to get a new piece of fabric. Already checked the stash and I don't have anything large enough. So until then, and because I needed some HAED to work on for the SAL, I pulled out FoS. Here is where I started. And here is where I am tonight. I'm almost done with page 10. I've done almost a whole page in a week. Boy howdy, if I could keep that up all the time I would have this done in less than a year, but there are too many other things to stitch on to dedicate myself to this alone. I'll keep going on it for now though. Maybe I can get most of page 11 done before the 1st of May next week. That's when I'll take up AW again. Now, I must get back to stitching. See ya.

I quit my HAED it was all to dark and you couldn't make out the branches. It was all so close to the same colors.

Hi Jan,
I found you on Daffycat's blog, and the name of your blog attracted me like the proverbial moth - Stitching Cats! Love the cats on your blog header - I assume you did those? And I am in awe of the rest of your work..I just wrote that on somebody else's blog earlier - when I see what other stitchers do, I feel like putting away my needle forever and just sit and admire people like you!
