Last night was the last night for our Stitch Night at In Stitches for the year. We will resume in January. We had lots of really great food. Deborah had been collecting recipes from all of us through the year and presented us with a cookbook she put together. There are some really great recipes I want to try. Ellen, the owner of the shop, gifted us with a "make it and take it". In the bag was a small red baking dish, two rubberbands, three strips of red, green, and/or cream wool in various combinations, and a ornamental pin. Once you put it together, you get this:
Connie, Helen, and I put ours together immediately using the fabric cutting table. Isn't this a cute pincushion? I don't know where she got the idea from, but it's great. It was really sweet of her to gift us with these. We all had a great time and I'll miss getting together with the other stitchers. Come on January!

Such a cute idea! I've seen one in a tea cup, but love the red/green combo.

Great pincushion. You're fortunate to have a stitching shop where you can get together with other stitchers :)
