Okay, first the rant. I drink Sprite Zero because I am diabetic and cannot drink regular sodas. For some reason, most of the 7-11s in our area are not carrying them right now. Instead they have Sprite Cranberry. Now, I love cranberry juice when I can find a low sugar one. I looked at the bottle and almost went into sugar shock just reading the label. Sprite Cranberry has 64grams of sugar. 64! That's like eating two candy bars (I checked, Milky Way is 31grams). Are they insane?! In this day and age when people are being more health conscience, even with their junk food, do they seriously think 64grams of sugar is okay? I have to wonder what kind of sales figures they are getting for this product.
Okay, rant over.
Now to the stitching. Yes, I am still working on Red. Usually I stitch several things at a time, but I am determined not to start anything else until I finish Red. I'm getting closer. Here she is now.
Almost done with the DMCs and ready to go onto the silks. I decided to do the silks later as I use qsnaps most of the time and I didn't want to risk mushing the silks.
Thanks for stopping by.

Wow Jan, Red looks absolutely stunning :o)
I can quite understand your rant!! How frusting and annoying! Love cranberry but think I will stay away from Sprite Cranberry!!
Red is coming along nicely, and she's gorgeous!
Red is coming along beautifully, this is already looking fabulous!!!
I love how gorgeous Red is. If you have decided to stick with just one, this is the best choice of project!
I love Sprite Zero. I'm surprised it's not popular. I guess it's the artificial sweetener vs. the all natural thing that must be changing the economics.
Oh yay I follow your blog! I was the one at in stitches Saturday working on sleeping princess. Red look so great. Love love love your fabric!!
She's so beautiful, and you're so close to a finish, stunning!
And that is an insane and scary amount of sugar!
You are absolutly right to rant!
They also should take their responsibility.
Your work ik really great.
Amazing stitching. That happens a lot with foods that try to look like a healthy option and are actually full of sugars and fats.
Red looks wonderful, she is beautiful. I know what you mean about wanting to get one finished. I am working on Pot 4 Dickie when I am working on my CX.
Red is looking beautiful! I have a friend who can't wait to start her.
gorgeous.
Red is looking gorgeous.
Red is really gorgeous, congratulations :)
And i too agree with your rant, considering the situation nowadays producers should show a bit more concern regarding what they put on their products.
Beautiful work, Red is stunning!
