The beginning of this month saw the start of Challenge #4 for HAED. So I started page 19 for it. This challenge is to just stitch however you want. So I'm back to my cross country style. I figure I'm about halfway through the page.
The black thread on the left shows where the page begins. Now to get back to stitching. I hope to get a big chunk done this weekend.

Under the Wire
Just finished page 18. I wanted to get it done before the end of the year and I just made it.
Only 9 more pages to go. Maybe I can actually finish this in the new year.

Finally
I finally finished page 17 of The Astronomer. Now I have something I can post. I am stitching on another thing but it is a Christmas gift so I can't show it here.
Now here is page 17.
I have 4 full pages and then 7 half pages and I'll be done. Maybe sometime next year????

It's Been Too Long
I got hung up on doing the HAED Challenge #3. It was a challenge to try out parking and yes it was a challenge! I was determined to complete it, but it really slowed me down. Now that it is done maybe I can get some other stitching done. Here are a picture of the halfway point.
Having all the threads hanging down drove me crazy. Sometimes there were even more than what is in the picture, but hey, at least I tried it. Now I know that I do not like it and can go back to the cross country method.

Romeo Romeo
Finally finished Wherefore Art Thou by Nora Corbett. The picture does not show the fabric very well. I'll try for a better one in the daylight later. The challenge on this was attaching the very large bead. I strung them as called by in the chart then ran the needle back up through the beads and fastened on the back. I think it came out alright. She is stitched on Pollywog Princess from Hand Dyed by Stephanie using the listed specialty threads.

Summer is here
Well it was a hot humid 93 degrees yesterday and right now it's 90. It should not be this hot before noontime! So what to do when it's this hot? Stay in the AC and stitch.
I finally finished part 2 of Wherefore Art Thou and started the last part. Here is my pic of the completed part 2.
I'm using the called for overdyed threads. I put her down for about a month so I could finish the HAED challenge and also because I needed more of the WDW. This is what has pissed me off about this pattern. It is so off on the number of skeins needed. I was so put out that I just put her aside for a bit, but now I'm back on her and hopefully I can finish her in a few more weeks.

Page 15
Finished page 15 of The Astronomer. I tried the cross country stitching method for the HAED Challenge #2 to finish this page and I really like it. I'm going to keep using that method for these BAPs.
